The deployment-ownership governance pack — the first named, versioned, opt-in policy pack (docs/SELECTORS.md §10.9).

Logical ownership (arch.policy) stops at the service; this pack carries it onto the infrastructure the service runs on. Every deployment node, every piece of network kit, and every deployed container instance must resolve an owning team — the pager question (“who owns the box this is on?”) answered from the model instead of from tribal memory.

Adopting a pack takes two edits. Pin it in your package.archspace (a stdlib pack needs no dependencies entry — the pin loads it):

The pin and the imports are both load-bearing. archlang check fails if the pinned version disagrees with this manifest’s version:, and it fails if an adopted pack’s policy stops being imported — a governance pack cannot be quietly dropped to make the gate go green. The recorded way out of a specific violation is a waiver on the use site:

The policies target arch.c4’s deployment kinds (deployment_node, infrastructure_node, container_instance), so a model already written on arch.c4 is governed with no vocabulary change.
